create the Constitution so that people in America could be treated fairly.

Benjamin Franklin was 81 years old when he signed the Constitution.
He was old and sick, but he had a good mind. While he was signing the
Constitution, he began to cry.
George Washington was a farmer and solider from the state of
Virginia. He was the first person to sign the Constitution. Later, in
1789, he became the first President of the United States. He was
President for eight years.

James Madison was known as The Father of the Constitution because
he put so much time and effort into writing it. In 1809, he became the
4th President of the United States.
