2011 is coming to a screeching HALT.
Like the rest of you I have no idea where the
time goes. It has been such a great year with all
of you! As the song goes “thanks for the memories”! I am sure we will run into each other about
town or even in the bank! Of course I am going
to miss all of you, and I will absolutely miss all
these wonderful people that I have worked with
for over 10 years. Of course I am looking forward
to retirement. Everyone keeps asking me what I
am going to do. Do I have to do anything when I
am retired?!? We are going to Arizona for a
month. I will think about “doing something” while
I am enjoying the grandchildren and warm
weather!
So from all of us at First Federal of Northern
Michigan we wish you the merriest of Christmas’
and a healthy and prosperous new year to you
and yours! We appreciate that you trust us with
helping you make those financial decisions.
I am so very excited to introduce you to DeAnn
Smith as the new First Freedom Club Coordinator
She and her husband Marlon have been in the
community many years, so some of you may know
her. DeAnn taught pre-school for many years
before taking on the First Freedom Club. They
have two grown sons. I think she is the perfect fit
for this very fun job! I know you will all welcome
her into the “club family”. There will be no January
2012 newsletter from DeAnn, but you can watch
for one in February. If you are in the bank stop and
say hello to her!
