Lewis Newvine of the Rensselaer Falls-Kendrew road suffered a painful injury Sunday
afternoon. While riding a bicycle in front of Mr. and Mrs.
Donald Hammond's store, he
lost control of t h e bicycle and
was thrown against the heavy
plate glass front window of the
store.

He received a deep cut on his
left arm and a small cut above
the elbow. The arm was bleeding badly and he was rushed to
Hepburn Hospital by Donald
Hammond, where he was attended by Dr. Rutherford Rodger. His parents were not at
home at the time of the accident
but went directly to the hospital when they arrived home and
were notified of the accident.
John was then taken to the
operating room, as stitches were
required to close the wound.

nominated to that office by the

will be the duty of Mr. Greenblatt for the year 1960 to supervise the activities of all the
Kiwanis Clubs in St. Lawrence
and Franklin Counties. The
