Cedarcrest Middle School, 6400 88th Street NE, Marysville. Next meeting will be March 8, 2016.
If you have never attended a meeting before, the club is always looking for new ideas so come
and share.

The Happy Hoppers are doing themselves proud; last month 25 Hoppers caravanned
(formal and informal) to the Samena Squares, 20 to the Dudes and Dolls and 13 to the
Skagit Squares. This helps the host clubs financially and helps build comradeship in the
square dancing community!
We really need more men angels to help with the remaining two workshops called by Scott
Coon. Please consider helping the new graduates at the last two workshops (February 22
nd and 29th) - no lesson on the 15th due to Presidents day).
Thanks to Melody Scalzo, we are ready to roll out a new website, more information later
on how to access this site.

Doug Davis called a fun and entertaining dance which was well attended with at least 8
squares of dancers.
Gary Monday will be calling our February 20th dance and National Caller, Johnny Preston
will be calling a double dance on March 5. Please come and dance at these events if at all
possible.
The annual club ($25) dues are now due. This year we will be using a PO Box for you to
send your checks. Our Membership Chairperson, Nancy Larsen, will be sending out more
information in the near future.

The Chatty Chicks have decided to go dark for now unless someone steps forward to be the
organizer……the Chatty Chicks Luncheon at Willow and Jim’s Country Café in Silvana on

Before the student graduation Happy Hoppers gathered at the Burger King to have
“Whoppers for Hoppers”
which was started by Barbara Moody and Sarah Newman having burgers before the dance
lessons. Bertha was a good sport and dressed as the “Roo” for the event and the
graduation….a good time!!

Cascade Crossfire - Monday nights February - July 7:00-9:00 PM Plus Workshop at the Sammamish Valley
Grange in Woodinville with Susan Morris. "Awesome" Plus (DBD) is at 6:30 PM.
Steve Noseck will be holding Plus workshops on Thursdays March 3 through April 28 at the Mountlake Terrace
Sr. Center, 23000 Lakeview Dr, Mountlake Terrace. 7:45 - 9:45 PM. This Plus is also all position.
John Corrigan is holding Plus lessons from 1-3:30PM on select Saturdays at the Mt Vernon Sr. Center, 1401
Cleveland Ave., Mt Vernon. FogCutters are sponsoring these lessons.
Gunter Monroe will be starting A1/A2 lessons on Tuesday February 2 at the Tri Way Grange, 3509 Seattle Hill
