Polynomial Operations and Factoring
• Know and use polynomial vocabulary (9-1)
• Add and subtract polynomials (9-1)
• Use the Distributive Property with monomials and polynomials: for
BOTH multiplying and factoring (9-2)
• Multiply polynomials with any number of terms (9-3)
• Factor polynomials completely (9-5, 9-6, 9-8)
• Use patterns to multiply (9-4) and factor (9-7) perfect square
polynomials
• Use patterns to multiply (9-4) and factor (9-7) the difference of squares
• Memorize the perfect square and difference of squares patterns by the
