Hard hats on boats? – these are a hazard on boats and are not necessary to wear Hearing protection for blower operator and people working around the blower would be useful Equipment Deployment: How could we have improved the equipment deployment portion of the exercise? Perfect scenario would have incorporated anchors Exercise was rushed because of weather Equipment Deficiencies: What equipment deficiencies did you see? none Communications: How can we improve communications? (ie: was the sound acceptable? Were directions clear?) radio reception in this area is limited Training Effectiveness/Exercise Improvement: How can we make these exercises more effective? 100% of group indicated that this training was effective for them Training twice per year may be beneficial Lessons Learned: What were the lessons learned? Application to previous knowledge is very helpful Standing up to volunteer as captains very helpful Other Types of Training: What other types of co-op exercises would you like to see? Not training, but access to a list of consultants’ phone numbers to call for assistance Other Equipment Needed in this Area: What additional equipment would be beneficial to this co-op area?
