hile Dr. Linda E. Stone may be familiar
to many as the genius behind Gentle
Caring Dentistry and the architect of some of
the nicest smiles in the area, she is also dedicated
to providing support and encouragement for
professional women interested in starting
their own businesses. Her daughter, Dr. Vanna
Stone, is following in her mother’s footsteps as
a dentist and now joined the thriving practice
in Livingston, NJ. Proudly, both are known to
patients as “Dr. Stone.”
Dr. Linda Stone is a true entrepreneur and was
at the forefront of women in the dental industry
when she began her career path in 1982. She was
quick to see the need for a new kind of dentist,
a doctor empathetic and compassionate enough
to work with patients who experience significant
stress and anxiety when visiting the dentist. As a
consequence of their fears, these patients may avoid

needed care and suffer both physically and socially
as a result of painful or unsightly conditions.
Seeing a chance to help those patients change
their lives for the better inspired Dr. Stone to open
Gentle Caring Dentistry in the 90’s.
In her new practice, she combined her cosmetic
dentistry skills with her unique understanding of
patient concerns to provide an environment in
which the most nervous patient
is able to relax and
receive much
needed care without pain or fear.
Since then, she has been responsible for helping
people regain control of their lives by providing
them with a smile they are proud to share.
Although Dr. Stone’s main focus is dentistry
and incorporates the most state-of-the-art
techniques, her private practice has evolved into
providing total makeovers, a strong signal of the
entrepreneurial spirit which first drove her to offer
innovative dental care.

1989.
For almost eighteen years, the emotional
and physical pain of the car accident that killed my
little brother and left me unable to walk had ruled
me, inside and out. The pain in my left foot was so
excruciating that I could not stand for more than three
minutes at a time, and every several months I had yet
another arthroscopic surgery to vacuum out the bone
chips that had collected in my left ankle, where I had
no cartilage.
After all of the years of surgeries and
painkillers, I was not getting any better. My health was
only getting worse, and I was putting on weight at an
alarming rate. I felt numb from all of the suffering—I
could not even feel emotionally attached to my children.
I was up to my throat in grief and anxiety. I turned
to the universe and prayed for a miracle. My prayers
were answered and I met my Qigong Master Lin and
my life changed. As I started practicing qigong, I felt
better and the pain and struggle started to fade away. I

do not have to suffer emotionally or physically. Our

that are necessary for healing. That is how I started.
Your healing depends on how open and willing, how
committed and responsible, you are. Everything that

it takes nurturing, loving care, and sunshine to grow.

ara Seager is the Managing Partner of Ally
Solutions Group, an Organizational Change
and Communications firm located in Central NJ and
founded in 2006.
Ally is a firm dedicated to helping their clients find
their voice, tell their story, and change the way they
work, lead and perform. Regardless of the change,
their Senior Design Consultants create customized and
innovative change management, internal marketing,
communications, and educational solutions to help
top leaders and their organizations improve their
business future.
It’s usually the transition, not the change itself, that
people resist, so Ally intentionally utilizes coaching and a set
of tools, processes, and communications to make it easier
for people to adopt change. During a major organizational
change a leader may need thousands of people to follow
him or her into a newly merged organization or perhaps
through new processes that will improve their business.
Ally’s team helps them craft the powerful story of a new and
better future that engages their people in innovative ways.

Michele Gannon, Mary’s Place by the Sea
Mary’s Place by the Sea provides a place for women to heal from cancer: mind, body and soul.
Located in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, one block from the Atlantic Ocean, guests are
invited to stay at Mary’s Place, at no cost to them, for the day or up to three days.
Founders Michele Gannon and Maria McKeon, busy moms and kindred spirits, began
the grassroots non-profit as volunteers and renting space in a local home. Through the
overwhelming response from guests, volunteers and donors, Mary’s Place has grown into an
organization with over 100 volunteers.
Mary’s Place offers guests a variety of supportive holistic services that help women cope
with the stresses of cancer. Through oncology massage, guided meditation, reiki therapy,
nutritional counseling, restorative yoga, journaling, psychotherapy and most importantly
unconditional LOVE, women are able to relax, rejuvenate and release.
After hosting over 4,000 women from across the country since opening its doors in 2009,
Mary’s Place by the Sea is currently building a 10-bedroom, handicap-accessible home, also
located in Ocean Grove, to meet its growing demand.
Michele Gannon, Founder and President, is celebrating being one of the 25 Finalists for the

in women’s health and treating female patients, but it was the intellectual stimulation of reproductive
medicine which led her to the specialty. “What I loved about it was that it felt like a puzzle,” offered Dr.
Hock. “You have to use the knowledge you learn along the way to put the pieces of that puzzle together.”
Dr. Hock says the most validated technologies being pioneered at Reproductive Medicine
Associates of New Jersey (RMANJ) are incredibly impactful. “SelectCCS is a significant step in
the right direction making infertility care more evidence based and successful.” she says, referring
to a breakthrough genetic screening process. “So much of this cutting edge research occurs right

Terry Tateossian, Socialfix Media
At Socialfix, each new client is greeted with the same passion, energy and optimism that
fuels this entrepreneurial digital agency. “The opportunity to bring meaningful results and
transformational impact to clients’ bottom lines is what drives us every day,” says fourth
generation entrepreneur and Founding Partner, Terry Tateossian. The 10-year old agency
has focused on delivering integrative, results-oriented digital marketing strategies rooted
in technology and behavioral analytics for B2B, non-profit and Fortune 100 companies.
“Clients come to Socialfix not only for our creative DNA but also for the insights we bring
to developing brands. They come to us for results, period,” says Tateossian. “For some,
that means we focus on revenue drivers. For others, it’s about growing brand awareness and
recognition. However, everything we do is tied to quantifiable and measurable results.”
Tateossian firmly believes in trimming operating budgets for both Fortune 100 and small
start-ups. “Clients appreciate us because we’ve gained the experience to provide proven
results and differentiate what may be a calculated risk,” says Tateossian. “The change in
strategy may sometimes feel uncomfortable, but we encourage clients to experiment and try a new approach. We
believe growth and transformation can only take place when we drive positive changes.”
In today’s highly competitive environment, Socialfix differentiates itself by building brands that resonate with
their core audience and function as a 24/7 sales machine. From starting conversations to closing sales, every piece of
content whether it’s a video, website or your marketing materials, should be speaking the right language to the right
audience, while entertaining, educating and providing value,” concludes Tateossian.
