Shower Me with Compliments
Leader Component: Define the word compliment and facilitate a conversation about the value of compliments.
Instructions: Color the picture. Think about one special quality that best describes each member of your Troop. Cut out all of your raindrops. Write your
name on the back of each raindrop. Distribute one raindrop to each girl; make sure that it is the one that best describes her personality, what she is best
known for or what you like about her most. Blank raindrops may be used to write your own compliment. After all raindrops have been distributed. Sort your
raindrops into like piles. Count each pile. In the chart, record the three compliments you received the most of in order of most to least. Another year of Girl
Scouting has come and gone…How well does your Troop know you? How well do you know the girls in your Troop? How well do you know yourself?
Turn your raindrops over to reveal the names of the girls who complimented you. Paste your raindrops onto your picture.
