FINAL EXAM: EB Bring it to class…1 page typed (NO MORE) Course Learning Outcome 4: Critique lifestyle choices in terms of their anatomical consequences, and propose alternatives that would improve health. If you were to really truly make a single lifestyle change that would improve your health, what would it be? Stop smoking? Drink more water? Cut back on the pints (of Ben and Jerry’s)? Something else? Argue persuasively why this single change would have far reaching effects by first describing the negative consequences of your current habit. Then describe the specific anatomic and functional changes in cells, tissues, organs and organ systems due to your new and improved lifestyle. (Realize that consequences of our daily habits are unlikely to be limited to a single organ system.) • What are the negative ANATOMICAL consequences of the current habit? • What is the change you will make (new habit)? • How will the new habit affect your ANATOMY? • How will the anatomical changes affect FUNCTION? FINAL EXAM: WRITTEN (pg 1) Name that part (5 at 1 point each) Any part that satisfies these conditions is correct. Example: This organ is inferior to the stomach, medial to the kidneys, and deep to the pubic bone. Name that tissue (5 at 1 point each) Be as SPECIFIC as possible!
