Jim graduated from Purdue University. After graduation, Jim owned and operated a restaurant
and catering service in Boca Raton, FL for 10 years. In 1987 he made the transition to the
securities and insurance business. His attention to detail is impeccable and his passion has been
successfully demonstrated in both careers.
As a Financial Services Representative with the Principal Financial Group® and Registered
Representative of Princor Financial Services Corporation, Jim holds his Series 7, 63 and 65
securities registrations and various insurance licenses. He is a perennial conference qualifier
achieving Premier Club and in 2012 and 2013 he attained Honor Council status. Jim is a
member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) He obtained
the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) through the American College of
Financial Services®.
As a financial professional, he concentrates his practice on medical professionals and corporate
executives approaching retirement. He specializes in working with Urologists assisting them
with a long term strategy for financial security. This includes financial and estate planning. Jim’s
knowledge of investment and insurance products, allows him to provide solutions to help meet
their financial goals. He works actively in both the traditional and non-traditional couples
market and has aligned himself with attorneys and CPAs who have a good working knowledge
of the unique challenges faced by these individuals.

Jim has a large heart for charity and actively participates with local organizations
that support the community. For the past two years he has served on the Executive
Advisory Board for the American Fine Wine Competition (AWFC). He is a board
member and chairs many committees for Deliver the Dream, an organization that
provides support for families with terminally ill members. Jim participates in
numerous charity events for them throughout the year including Bowling and
Fishing Tournaments, the Gala and the bachelor/bachelorette auction. He
volunteers on retreats and provides education on charitable giving.
Jim is an active scuba diver, sport fisherman and enjoys adventure traveling with his
partner as well as gourmet cooking. They live in Plantation.
