❏ Utility-Scale Renewables
❏ Telecom Facilities
This Is Who We Are
Southwest Biological is a lean, responsive, quality-driven consulting firm with a focus on
environmental science, compliance, and monitoring for utility, energy, and telecom
projects. Based in Flagstaff, Arizona, we serve the entire southwest region with easy
access to adjoining states.
We are smart, passionate people who believe that working together should be enjoyable
for our teams and our clients. When we launched in 2014, we did so to distinguish
ourselves from everyone else. Our concept had to be so intuitive and compelling that it
would cause people to turn their heads and think, “Why didn’t we do that?” Additionally,
our capabilities have grown substantially to include archaeology and paleontology,
wetlands, stormwater pollution prevention, and NEPA documentation. Meanwhile, our
biological capabilities are greater than ever and our list of authorizations has grown
rapidly for field studies and monitoring of protected wildlife and plant species.
So give us a shot. We’ll start with something small to prove our value, earn your trust, and
lay the groundwork for repeat business. Whatever you need, we’re here to listen, ready to
go, and happy to help.

www.swbiological.com pg 1 Environmental Science, Compliance, and Monitoring This Is How We Solve Your Problems
We believe in a smarter, more innovative approach to environmental compliance where
creative and remote collaborations are key. That's why we work with a strong, regional
network of biologists, archaeologists, and paleontologists (many with advanced degrees)
for on-demand contributions to project-based field work. By forming teams on a
per-project basis (as opposed to a large, permanent staff), our fixed costs are kept at a
minimum, which allows for greater flexibility, efficiency, and value. And through
cloud-based computing, we maintain clear communication, scalability, versatility, security,
and tremendous cost-savings over typical IT systems.
