These are original Old Oriental Owls in
both Satinet and Blondinet, as they can
still to be seen flying in Turkey and the
Balkan Coutries today.
In 2004 these birds were pictured at
the cover of the former magazine
Avicultura and attracted the attention
of G. van Dooren. He ordered several
pair of the breed from Turkey and now,
after several years of breeding, he has
entered them at this Union Show for
recognition. The Old Oriental Owl was
also recently recognized in Germany.
With warm greetings from Utrecht.
We hope to see you all again
next year at the
Champion Show!
