Trygg has 3/4 package of marigold seeds. He plants 1/6 of those seeds in his garden and divides the rest equally into 10 flower pots. What fraction of a package is in each flower pot?
Let's get 1/6's from the 3/4. We can do that by splitting them in half, but
remember, it is 3/4 of the whole, so all 4 parts get split in half.
1/6 of 3/4 is planted, which is 1/8 of the whole package.
This leaves 5/8 of the whole package to get divided into the 10 pots.

Each week, Trevor's balance changed by $45; or his balance is
the same distance from 0 each week.
The balances are different because one week the balance had a
decrease, while the next week there was an increase in the balance!
