Congratulations to Alexandra Velez, Jake Reagan, and Ariel Thomas, who
won Monday’s Black History Question of the Day raffle. The correct answer
to Monday’s questions was Langston Hughes. Here is today’s Black history
Question of the day. Hiram Rhodes Revels was the first African American
ever elected to the US Senate. He represented this southern state from
February 1870 - March 1871. Which American state did he represent?
Make your guess during today’s grade level lunch. The winner will be
chosen from the correct entries.
