Keynote Presenter: Amy Warren, BHSC, ADS
Amy Warren is an Addiction Counsellor with the Mental Health and Pinewood
Centre program of Lakeridge Health, in partnership with the Scarborough
system. Amy received her Bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of
Western Ontario and her graduate certificate; specializing in Addictions and
Mental Health. She is also a trained Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist
through Lakeridge Health Corporation.
Amy has worked in the field of Addictions and Mental Health since 2003 –
both on an inpatient, outpatient and hospital based basis.

Currently, Amy works out of the Scarborough and Rouge Hospital; Centenary
site. Alongside Amy’s clinical role, she works to build capacity within the
system by providing education and trainings to in-hospital staff and to
community services and agencies that require assistance in working with
individuals and their families that may be struggling with Addiction and
Mental Health related concerns.
