Graphic thinking organizers can be used in a variety of ways. In fact, the engineering design
process graphic has an iterative flow chart built into it. Refer to the image below and the
following page to see how the Fishbone graphic thinking organizer can be used to describe
the designs sketched in the Brainstorming section. This example uses a student’s design from
the Explore Egg Drop module.
