Get ready everyone! This
year’s MAATA Student Senate
Service Project will be a Penny
War!
We hope to continue this
project for years to come,
making this an annual service
project, in addition to other
potential projects.
1) Organize into team (within you program or
group)
2) Designate a container for each team
3) COLLECT & COMPETE!
4) Count your collection and organize them into
like coins or bank rolls
5) Bring your collection to the MAATA 2017

Not a Student?
If you are not associated with
a District 3 Athletic Training
Program, we would still love
for you to participate! Get
your workplace or family
involved, and make a
competition of your own! Your
collection will go towards your
state total.
Split into teams within your own program; class vs.
class or faculty vs. students! Collect as many pennies
as you can! Make the competition fun; try sabotaging
your rival team with a ton of silver coins! One dollar
bills would be -100, quarters -25, dimes -10, etc.! The
athletic training program along with the state that
collects the highest totals will be announced at the
MAATA Symposium.
Why Are We Collecting?
This year, we will be donating the funds we raise to
the MAATA Secondary School Committee to
purchase CPR masks for coaches and staff within
secondary schools. We feel as though this is a need
that is lacking attention and would love for you to
support the cause!
