In collaboration with our manufacturing partners, Brace Orthopaedic is constantly looking for ways
to innovate the products within its portfolio. We understand that product design is an ever evolving
process and that we constantly need to look for ways to improve compliance for patients and
rehabilitation outcomes for clinicians.
Whilst preserving the tried and tested functionality of the CDS® range, we are pleased to offer a series
of enhancements to the design features. The hinge is now half its original size and the method for
adjusting force is both simpler and more intuitive.
All of the braces within the range have an improved appearance and now look as impressive as the
technical innovation contained within them. For some, the shells have been separated to give individual
adjustment on the patient, whilst the material on all of the adult braces has been changed to an
air permeable and light aluminium, which is malleable. The paediatric braces will also switch to an
aluminium structure in March 2016.
All of the enhanced features offer the clinician a much higher degree of individual adjustment to the
patient and the potential for a better clinical outcome.
