Training is not permitted on the course either before or whilst under test 2. Training aides are not permitted in or around the rings. 3. Competitors are required to report for allocated ring duties. 4. The show organiser reserves the right to refuse entries. 5. In the event of over subscription entries may be limited. 6. Competitors enter at their own risk and must sign and date the declaration on the entry form. 7. All participating dogs must be aged 18 months or over. 8. In the unlikely event that any Jumping Jacks event is cancelled, the organisers reserve the right to deduct unrecoverable expenses incurred before returning entry fees. 9. The show organiser reserves the right to combine/split classes depending on entry levels. 10. Please respect the venue and pick up after your dogs (anyone found not picking up after their dog will be excluded from future shows), and also dispose of all rubbish responsibly. 11. Have fun with your pet dogs! 10 J.J.A.A. records all results from all shows and compiles performance league tables in the categories of Introductory, Primary, Novice, Graduate & Masters. Trophies will be awarded to the leading Agility Dog of the Year in jump heights (Maxi), (Medium), (Mini,Tiny,Micro) in each category. The leading dogs & handlers from the tables will also qualify for the J.J.A.A. Grand Prix Tournament Finals at the late August show. There will be separate Finals for Jumping and Agility. At the Finals show there will be a last chance opportunity for all to qualify for the Grand Prix Finals. Points are accumulated for performances from all J.J. shows during the season including any Winter Series which count towards qualification for the J.J.A.A. Grand Prix Finals. There are also Trophies for the leading points scoring dogs that will be presented at the Grand Prix Finals weekend. No points will be awarded for Pairs, Team, invitation, demonstration or non-scheduled Pay on the Day classes. Jumping Jacks provide Reviewed dog heights & Dog weight to Height ratio. 5 jump heights with option of veterans etc: to jump at lower jump height. Maximum permitted jump height is 21 ins. Dogs may retain their status for the entire show year Up contacts of contact obstacles will not be marked. There will be no tyre obstacle in any class. In Introductory classes, refusals are not marked, except at the weaves, and handlers may carry a silent toy in the ring. (NFC & Pawsability entrants may carry a silent toy) Lower Dog-Walk & Maximum 4 ft A Frame in Veterans. Maximum 5 ft A Frame in other levels. No training allowed on the course either before or whilst under test. Training aides are not permitted either in or around the rings. No membership fee or dog registration fee is required. All dogs are automatically registered into the J.J.A.A. database free of charge when you enter your first show. Your dog will be allocated a J.J. registration number which will be on your ring card. Please make a note of this number and use it on all future J.J. show entries as it PAWSABILITY: Dogs not jumping their regulation jump height/level may be entered in Pawsability - for dogs of any age (over 18 months) that for whatever reason are not able to compete at their designated jump height and/or level as specified in height/level definitions. Pawsability classes will be run in conjunction with Veteran classes with separate awards. Competitors may enter as Pay on the Day NFC (providing the show is not full) in any appropriate level but may not compete higher than the dogs specified height/level VETERAN – for dogs of 7 years of age and over. No veteran dog will be permitted to jump higher than 17.75ins. Once a dog enters J.J.A.A. Veteran it will be expected to remain there for the remainder of its agility career and will not be permitted in future shows at Introductory, Primary, Novice, Graduate or Masters. Veteran dogs must jump at least ONE height lower than the dogs measured height. Status for all J.J.A.A. shows is that effective at 1st October or initial entry level if entering first J.J.A.A. show after that date. Dogs may retain their status for the entire show season (1st October to September 30th), if the handler wishes. J.J. will keep a record of results during the season. At the end of season the top performing dogs will be promoted to next level, for the following season. An ‘On Application’ relegation system also operates to allow dogs to move down the levels. Rules on the website www.jumpingjacksagility.co.uk 4 9 A dog may be entered in ONE height category only, Micro, Tiny, Mini, Medium or Maxi greatly assists in processing your entries, and ensures your league points are maintained correctly. Please check definitions below – you may find your dog is eligible at a different height category than you compete elsewhere. You may also have a choice of height category. Please specify jump height category on the entry form. All dogs will be measured at the shows. Micro – For dogs measuring 13ins (33cm) & under at the withers Maximum permitted jump height is 9ins (23cm). (Dogs between 13” & 14” have a choice Micro or Mini Tiny – 11.5ins (29.21cm) Jumps. Dogs measuring under 13 inches (33cm) have a choice Tiny or Micro Mini – For dogs measuring between 14” (35.6cm) or over & up to 16” (40.7cm) at the withers. Maximum permitted jump height is 13.75” (35cm). (Dogs between 16” & 17” have a choice Mini or Medium) (Dogs over 21” weighing 35 – 45kg may jump Mini) Online Running Orders Jumping Jacks offer all their competitors the option to download Running Orders, Ring Plans and Show Information for all J.J. Shows. Please note that the online running orders ARE NOT SENT BY E-MAIL and are only available via download from the J.J. website. Jumping Jacks will only publish running orders for competitors who request it. For those wishing to take advantage of our Online Running Orders service, please tick the box on the entry form & do not send an SAE. Please include your Email address. Running orders will be available approximately 2 or 3 weeks before each show at www.jumpingjacksagility.co.uk All errors/issues must be resolved 7 working days prior to the show. Medium – Dogs measuring between 17” (43.3cm) or over & up to 20” (50.8cm) at the withers. Maximum permitted jump height is 17.75” (45cm). (Dogs between 20” & 21” have a choice Medium or Maxi) (Dogs over 21” weighing 25 – 35kg may jump Medium). We value your comments/suggestions. Level Classification A dog may be entered in Designated level only, and must be specified in the appropriate box for each dog on the entry form. NB: All Novice & above dogs will compete together as Novice Plus until numbers in each level increases If you enter at a jump height less than in the size definitions above, you must enter Pawsability or Pay on the Day NFC. ON THE ENTRY FORM YOU MUST SPECIFY YOUR DOGS J.J.
