Sunland's continued growth has resulted in an immediate need for a Fire Sprinkler Designer
to work out of our corporate office in High Point, NC.
RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Design layout of water-based automatic fire sprinkler systems to contract specifications and
NFPA and local codes.
Perform field surveys.
Hydraulic calculations.
Stock listing within software.
Material equipment submittals.
Attend coordination and progress meetings.
Coordinate with other trades in design phase.
QUALIFICATIONS include:
Prefer at least 2 years design experience in the fire sprinkler industry.
Working knowledge of HYDRA CAD, AUTOSPRINK, AUTOCAD, NAVISWORKS and other fire
protection design software.
NICET Level II certification preferred.
ONLY applicants possessing the minimum qualifications will be considered. Candidates
must have a VALID driver’s license and successfully complete a pre-employment
background investigation and drug screening.
Compensation for this hourly, Non-Exempt position is $22-38/hr depending upon
experience. It is eligible for overtime pay.
