The Basics!
My Name is Mrs. Brittany Robey! I am the school psychologist at Monarch Global
Academy. This will be my 4th year as a school psychologist with AACPS. During my time
as a school psychologist, I’ve worked mostly in elementary schools and with the child find
early intervention team, but completed my internship with AACPS at Old Mill High School.
While in undergrad and graduate school, I gained experience working with significantly
disabled children at St. Elizabeth School and Sheppard Pratt, both located in Baltimore,
MD. I am married to Kevin Robey and we have a 1-year-old son, Eli. My husband works
for the federal government. We are a Ravens football, Orioles baseball, and Washington
Capitals hockey family!
My Childhood!
I was born and raised in the Baltimore area,
specifically, Elkridge, MD where my parents still
live. I have a younger sister, Samantha, who is
now a rock star nurse at Johns Hopkins in the
PICU. My parents are the most supportive,
loving people and gave us an amazing
childhood. I was very athletic and sports were a
huge part of my childhood. I played basketball
and softball since I was 4 years old and also
rode horses competitively since age 7. I still play
and ride occasionally!
My Education!
I’ve always loved school since the 1st day I walked
through the door. I attended private schools growing
up. I went to Our Lady of Victory for elementary and
middle school. I went to Mount de Sales Academy
in Catonsville, MD for high school and graduated in
2006. I attended Stevenson University in Owings
Mills, MD for undergraduate and earned a
Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2009. I attended
Towson University’s School Psychology program
and completed my Master’s and Certificate of
Advanced Study in School Psychology in 2013. I
continue to have a love of learning and enjoy new
challenges and opportunities for growth!
