Acid Neutralizer for AC/R systems NO-ACID is an additive that completely eliminates acidity residues and reduces the presence of moisture in the A/C and refrigeration systems. Acidity in a plant is normally generated by the the natural decomposition of refrigerants and of the compressor lubricants: these elements can react with the moisture by forming organic acids, carbonic hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids: the latter are highly aggressive towards metals and may cause leaks in the AC/R system or even the breakage of the compressor in the most serious cases. Since it also neutralizes the acid in the recovery station, restores the pH stability in lubricant and protects the compressor by preventing breakage, NO-ACID is the right solution for professional users. It is a needful product after the replacement of an AC/R compressor. The usage of the complementary product ACID TEST is recommended when you are about to test the level of acidity in the system and, consequentially, to determine the dose of NO-ACID to be used in it. Instructions: Insert the required dose of NO-ACID, by looking at the instructions below: • Low acid level (pH ≥ 6.8): add 30 ml (1.0 FL. OZ.) of No-Acid every 2 liters (64 FL. OZ.) of lubricant. • Medium acid level (6.8 ≥ pH ≥ 5.2): add 30 ml (1.0 FL. OZ.) of No-Acid every 1.5 liters (48 FL. OZ.) of lubricant. • High acid level (pH ≤ 5.2): add 30 ml (1.0 FL. OZ.) of No-Acid every 0.7 liters (24 FL. OZ.) of lubricant. In case of high level of acidity, use ACID-TEST 15 minutes after having inserted NO-ACID in the system. If the acidity still persists, repeat the application of this additive, by following the above dosage guidelines. Once you have completed the treatment, use EXTREME (Leak Stop for AC/R systems) in order to solve any possible problem of micro-leaks generated by the acidity. NO-ACID must be used by experienced professionals, provided with the specific personal protective equipment. Via Industriale,14 - 25030 Corzano (BS) - ITALY - errecom.com
