Shipper Entered RFS Process – TSP 1000 & 2000
Process
1.
Shipper enters new RFS in CAW then validates & submits the request.
2.
Alliance reviews RFS and, if acceptable, approves & awards it. Once
approved, a new contract number will be automatically assigned to the RFS.
3.
If RFS is not acceptable, Alliance will deny RFS.
If required, Alliance will contact shipper to discuss.

Interruptible Service (IT)
IT Service is transportation provided on an interruptible basis pursuant to
Toll Schedules and under the terms of the Shipper’s Interruptible
Transportation agreement.
IT Components
1. Request New IT Contract

Shippers should request one IT Contract for each receipt location that
they may want to bid on in future
2. Request IT Rate (Bid) for IT Contract

Must have an IT Contract

Based on Bidding Window which may be offered prior to any nomination
cycle

TSP 2000 – FT-1
Permanent Relocation – Full

Changes the full maximum daily quantity (MDQ) of a contract, for the remainder of the
contract, to a new location.

RFS Outcome – Amends existing contract with the same MDQ.
Permanent Relocation – Partial

Changes a portion of a contract’s MDQ, for the remainder of the contract, to a new location.

RFS Outcome – Amends existing contract for capacity relocated to new location(s) and
creates new contracts for new location(s).
Temporary Relocation

Changes all or a portion of a contract’s MDQ, for one month, to one or more new locations.

RFS Outcome – Amends existing contract for all or a portion of capacity relocated to new
location(s) and creates new contracts for new location(s).

TPAL Process
1.
Shipper contacts Alliance Price Desk to initiate RFS.
2.
Price Desk enters RFS details into CAW and saves request.
3.
Price Desk notifies shipper of new RFS and provides RFS number.
4.
Shipper retrieves RFS using number provided by Price Desk.
5.
Shipper reviews RFS then validates and submits it for approval.
6.
Alliance Price Desk awards RFS and adds new contract or amends existing
contract.
