Worthy Brother Knights:
Candidates should arrive and register at Mt. Merici Academy located on 152 Western Avenue,
Waterville, NO LATER THAN 11:30AM. Lunch will be provided to you following your registration. The
degree starts at 1PM. Fourth degree members attending the exemplification should wear tuxedos or
business suits with their social baldric. Honor guards should arrive by 9:30 for rehearsal.
The ladies luncheon will be at Notre Dame Church located at 116 Silver St., Waterville, with parking in
the rear arrival at or about 11:30 am. The ladies function will consist of a tour of the world-renowned
Colby College Art Museum located at 5600 Mayflower Hill Dr., Waterville. Parking is available in the lot
behind the museum; however, to minimize vehicles; there will be carpooling from Notre Dame to
Colby. There should be ample time after the tour to prepare for Mass and the banquet.
A group photo will be taken immediately following the degree exemplification, $20 cost.
Weather permitting, candidates will march from Mount Merici to Sacred Heart Church for 4 PM Mass
located at 72 Pleasant St., Waterville, a distance of one (1) mile. Transportation will be available for
those unable to march. Your guests will be able to attend Mass and see you knighted during Mass.
A banquet will be held following the Mass at Mt. Merici Academy. Candidates banquet ticket is
included in the $70.00 application fee and will be given to you at the registration table. Extra tickets
for the banquet are available at a cost of $35.00 each. No tickets will be mailed out. All tickets are to
be picked up at the registration table. The meal will be catered with a cash bar available.

Lodging is available at the Best Western Plus Waterville Grand Hotel located at 375 Main St.
Waterville. The hotel is located right off of exit 130 off I-95. When booking tell them you are with the
Knights of Columbus and your room rate should be $79.00 per night.
