Can go close in this field. CANNERY ROW has had his problems but could improve if overcoming his tardy starts. DIOGENES (Glen Kotzen/Andrew Fortune) improved by nine lengths last time. One to respect. One can expect further improvement and should be running. GOLDEN CRYSTAL did not run to expectations against stronger last time. Could be the one to be wary of in this field. ON THE ROAD (Justin Snaith/Andrew Fortune) ran a shocker last time but that was in soft going. Form before that was good. ROYAL FOLLY (Dean Kannemeyer) has run well in his post maiden efforts. PINOTAGE PETE (Glen Kotzen/JP van der Merwe) only won his maiden last time. Should have more to find but does have a place chance. 1st – TOLD YOU SO (5/1) (1); 2nd – GOLDEN CRYSTAL (6); 3rd – ON THE ROAD (5); 4th - ROYAL FOLLY (2.5/1 F) (4); 5th – PINOTAGE PETE (2) RACE 3: Maiden Plate 2000m Bend MAGNETIC (Mike Bass/Grant Van Niekerk) ran his best race in seven last time when running on this C & D. LIQUIFICATION (Paddy Kruyer/Glen Hatt) is inclined to be erratic. Last run and the one three runs ago were good enough to give him a fair chance in this field. LORD TRAFALGAR (Dean Kannemeyer) has certainly come along well in his last three runs when finishing well. HOLD ON TIGER runs for the thirty second time as a maiden but has earned over double what was paid for him at the sales. FLY LIKE AN EAGLE is another who is improving. Only placings have been over the distance. DO YOU DANCE has moderate form and weakens. CAPRISA runs for the twenty third time. STRAWBERRY LINE (Mike Bass/Grant Van Niekerk) also has good form and can also be running on at the business end of the race. LONDON THEATRE did not show in her post maiden two runs back but showed very good improvement last time. DIZZY FEET (Glen Kotzen/Andrew Fortune) should never be discounted in fields such as this. 1st – KARNILLA (5/1) (5); 2nd – BEULAH (2.8/1 F) (1); 3rd – STRAWBERRY LINE (3); 4th - LONDON THEATRE (6); 5th – DIZZY FEET (2) RACE 6: MR 70 (F & M) Hcp 1200m Bend KIND LADY has excellent form and also over this C & D. ACT OF FAITH (Vaughan Marshall/MJ Byleveld) showed good improvement last time. Chance if repeating. FORT BUKLOH cannot be faulted on current form and should be doing his best work late. COGNAC ON ICE (Yogas Govender) will be running on. Respect the ante post favorite VENTURE VAR, who won his maiden this C & D but may need to confirm. That was his fourth run. 1st – KUKAMA (8.4/1) (16); 2nd – DYNASTY'S SECRET (8); 3rd – ACT OF FAITH (14); 4th - FORT BUKLOH (4); 5th – COGNAC ON ICE (1); FAVOURITE - VENTURE VAR (4/1 F) (6) RACE 8: Maiden Plate (F & M) 1400m Bend BLUE MARTINI (Joey Ramsden/Glen Hatt) made a good debut over 1200m last time.
