SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
• Fleece: 2/3 yd pink, 2/3 yd lavender, 1/4 yd green, 1/4 yd yellow
• 4 yds 1/4" covered cording -or- 4 yds 1/4" cording & 2 fleece strips 11⁄2"x62" to cover cording
• 2 bags polyester stuffing, 16 oz each
• Basic sewing supplies
• Sewing machine
DIRECTIONS:
1. Trace and enlarge pattern so center circle measures 7" across. Add 1/2" for seam allowance to each piece.
(percentage may vary depending on how you download and print instructions)
2. Cut one flower each from lavender and pink fleece. Cut two circles from the yellow fleece.
Cut 2 strips green 31⁄2"x36".
3. Applique yellow circle in center of each flower*. Set aside.
4. Sew two green strips together forming a long strip.
5. Cover cording if using cording and fabric strips.
6. Using zipper foot, stitch covered piping to each long edge of green fleece.
7. With right sides together, stitch long edge to flower. Trim excess length from green piece,
leaving seam allowance. Stitch short ends of green piece together.
8. With right sides together, stitch other long edge to second flower leaving an opening for turning.
9. Turn, stuff and slip stitch opening closed.
*Use favorite method for appliqué. If making pillow exactly like sample, enlarge yellow centers 1/2" around.
Remove center 61⁄2" from each flower. With right sides together and matching edges, stitch center circle to
flower. Clip curves as needed.
