COMMERCIAL AVIONICS

Clearvision™
Elbit Systems’ Clearvision is a complete product family of Enhanced Flight Vision Systems (EFVS), covering
the full flight envelop, that overcomes extreme weather conditions and low visibility situations – both day
and night. Clearvision allows intuitive “out-of-the-window” flying, minimizing the dependency on airport
and helipads instruments, and is designed to reduce landing minima and providing takeoff credit. The
Clearvision display fuses conformal flight guidance symbology with synthetic vision presentation and highresolution Enhanced Vision System (EVS) video on a Head Mounted Display (HMD). The Clearvision suite
has been selected by leading Part 25 platforms manufacturers around the world and has now also been
introduced on rotary-wing platforms.

ClearVision EVS
The market’s first multispectral EVS camera, the EVS sensor allows pilots to
carry on operating as well as landing in low visibility conditions. ClearVision
receives information from several sensors, all neatly packed into a single unit,
covering different spectral bands, optimized for penetrating poor visibility and
providing a fused picture that overcomes the reliance on heat generating
objects.

SKYLENSTM
Packed in a lightweight, easy-to-install device, as intuitive as a pair of sunglasses,
SKYLENS is a revolutionary solution for challenges facing aviators. Operational in
all weather conditions, day and night, SKYLENS provides head-up information and
minimizes dependency on airport instrumentation.
SKYLENS is part of the Clearvision EFVS family, displaying high-resolution
information, images and video on a high transparency visor, providing superior
see-through transmission.

SkyVisTM
SkyVis is a new system combining our operationally proven HMD with
commercially certifiable line-of-sight (LOS) technology and daytime head-up
display (HUD) capabilities. SkyVis day or night system offers enhanced situational
awareness and enables “eyes out” operations, with or without Night Vision
Goggles (NVG), during all phases of flight, in marginal weather conditions without
compromising safety.

Head-Up Display (HUD)
Our digital HUD is an electro-optic device that presents aircraft data over a transparent glass (combiner),
located in front of the pilot. The displayed data is collimated to infinity, enabling the pilot to operate the
aircraft using out-of-the-window view during critical phases of flight.
With eyes focused out in front of the aircraft viewing the HUD, the aircraft flight
path vector, aircraft attitude, visual glideslope angle and the runway aim point,
pilots can achieve greater precision and situational awareness at all times while
increasing safety. In addition, our modern HUDs can present external video such as
EVS video and benefit from lower landing minima’s.

HELICOPTER SOLUTIONS

Brightnite™
To convert any dark night into the “military pilots’ best friend”, Elbit Systems
presents Brightnite, an affordable non-gimbaled uncooled FLIR sensor. The
system supports operational flights any night, all night by fusing a real-time
video from a multi-spectral sensor, enhanced by 3D flight and mission
conformal symbology. Brightnite displays high resolution panoramic imagery
to multiple pilots and crew members simultaneously on their Helmet Display
and Tracking System (HDTS) regardless of visibility conditions, enabling them
to successfully perform missions in more than 90% of the nights.
MILITARY AVIONICS

Elbit Systems CockpitNGTM
The CockpitNG is based on a smart central Large Area Display (LAD), which includes all avionic
components in one suite. The display is fully integrated with the helmet mounted systems and HUD. All
of the system’s components were developed in a “multi-touch-screen" technology in order to allow the
pilot to operate the aircraft in a smooth and customizable manner. This new modular solution enhances
mission excellence and reduced aircrew workload and can be tailored to multiple platforms offering full
multi-mission support for attack, emergency services training and air support missions.

Large Area Display (LAD)
LAD is a unique large area display (available in custom-made sizes), dual redundant, touchscreen enabled and featuring a wide dimming range for night vision goggle compatibility at
low luminance levels. All products in this line are smart integrated modular avionics (IMA)
displays that can host software applications from either Elbit Systems, customer legacy
software or third-party software.

Helmet Mounted Systems (HMS)
Our HMS enable pilots to plan, rehearse, fly and debrief using their personal
helmets. They’re available in stand-alone or fully integrated configurations. The
HMS is an excellent solution for fighter aircraft, air lifters, trainers, emergency
services aircraft and helicopters. Our offering includes NVCD (night symbology) and
click-on Night Vision Goggles (NVG), improved helmet comfort and center of
gravity. Our HMS also contains safe, proven visor projection, market leading
accuracy , a hybrid optical/inertial tracker with unlimited motion box with best in
class redundancy, a unique color display and a multi-sensor video presentation.

EVA™ - Embedded Virtual Avionics
EVA is an on-board embedded training system for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft. It is capable of producing
a virtual environment populated with smart friendly and foe entities: for airborne, ground or maritime
applications. EVA simulates advanced weapon and avionics systems, such as radar, targeting pods or selfprotection suites.
Installed on a trainer platform, EVA enables early mastering of advanced avionics and combat tactics
during actual flight.
Installed on a combat platform, EVA contributes to a higher combat readiness level along with substantial
cost savings, due to range-less training with virtual entities. EVA also provides ACMI/HCMI features.

Special Mission Aircraft Solutions

Leveraging Elbit Systems' vast operational experience and world leadership in ISR solutions, coupled with
in-house capabilities in aircraft upgrade, sensors and systems development; special mission aircraft
solutions is now one of the important growth areas at Elbit Systems, with focus on Intelligence
Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) aircraft and Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) solutions.
Elbit System solutions cover all aspects of the mission, including the aircraft (customer’s upgrade or new),
the mission systems and sensors, communication up/down channels, ground stations, command and
controls stations and tools, sensors data and imagery exploitation tools and facilities, mission planning
and debriefing tools, aircraft maintenance and complete Integrated Support Solution (ILS) and other
related services.
COMPREHENSIVE PILOT TRAINING SCHOOL
Elbit Systems' solution for a total training experience, our comprehensive military pilot training schools
draw on the company’s vast experience in provision of aviation services, avionics and training. The

SkyBreakerTM
Unlimited Access to the Sky
Elbit Systems’ Skybreaker Mission Training Center (MTC) is a networked multi-cockpit,
mission oriented training center supporting many aircraft types.
The MTC provides realistic simulated battlefield training using the full range of aircraft
systems and mission scenarios to enhance all levels of pilot training. A world leader in
field-proven training and simulation solutions, Elbit Systems developed SkyBreaker to
save actual flight hours by presenting aircrews with high-fidelity, simulator-based
training.

Hermes™ 900

Multi-Mission, Multi-Payload Long-Range Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Aircraft
System (UAS).
Recently selected by the Israel Defense Forces, the Hermes 900 UAS offers long
endurance, a flight altitude of more than 30,000 ft., unique internal/external
payload capacity and flight capabilities in adverse weather conditions. The latest
generation Hermes 900 provides a unique, expeditionary, long-endurance and
cost-effective solution for a variety of air force, navy, army and paramilitary
applications.

HermesTM 450 Tactical Expeditionary UAS

Hermes 450 is a multi-role UAS. It is equipped with Elbit Systems' CoMPASS™ EO/IR/LD gimbaled electrooptical payload and can adapt to a wide range of payloads, including SAR/GMTI radar, ELINT, COMMINT
and various dual payload configurations. Highly portable and easily deployed by maneuvering forces,
Hermes 450 is controlled by the Hermes Universal Ground Control Station (UGCS),
and can autonomously execute diverse and concurrent missions. Its internal Auto
Takeoff and Landing (IATOL) system enables auto-landing even on alternate semiprepared strips. Hermes 450 is recognized as the leading expeditionary tactical
UAS in its class, having flown operationally in numerous countries, including in US
and UK civil airspaces. Hermes 450 was the first UAS certified to fly in Israeli civil
airspace. To date, Hermes 450 has accumulated more than 300,000 operational
flight hours, attesting to its popularity and enthusiastic adoption worldwide.

HermesTM 90

Elbit Systems’ Hermes 90 provides an optimized combination of high-end
tactical UAS characteristics, with high mobility, rapid deployment, point-launch
and recovery in harsh field conditions, at a significantly lower cost than
comparable tactical UAS. The Hermes 90 is highly autonomous with missioneffective flight modes, a variety of quality mission payloads and flexible
deployment schemes. It is ideal for a variety of military, HLS and commercial
applications.

JUPITER
JUPITER is a very high resolution remote sensing camera.
The JUPITER camera is a top-end performance earth observation system for
government and commercial applications and missions. JUPITER will be integrated in
the OPTSAT 3000 satellite. JUPITER contains panchromatic and optional multi-spectral
(MS) imaging capabilities sharing a common optical assembly and is capable of
simultaneous operation and the creation of pan, MS and pan-sharpened images.

COMINT Payloads for UAS
The company offers operational and battle-proven UAS-specific COMINT/DF
systems, designed as modular building blocks, capable of tackling various types
of communications systems and able to fit any UAS. The systems utilize
wideband multi-purpose receivers and meet the requirements of any EW/SIGINT
payload, offering tactical intelligence reception in real time over wide rural and
urban areas, and enabling digital audio-recording

COMJAM

Diverse, fully automatic, and adaptable Communications Jamming (COMJAM) solutions are specially
designed for installation onboard mission aircraft. A modular, flexible, future-ready configured system that
manages multiple frequency sub-bands, the COMJAM solution has predefined threats lists and jamming
priorities, is operated either automatically or manually, and is special operating forces (S.O.F.) approved.

Data Links
Our data links include advanced wireless communications systems for manned and unmanned aircraft,
guided weapons and space platforms - as well as unique SAR (Search and Rescue) systems for combat
and non-combat applications. Our data links product line includes Tracking, Telemetry, Ranging, and
Control (TTR&C) systems for space vehicles and satellite earth stations.

iSNS - Immune Satellite Navigation System

iSNS/V1 is a highly effective GPS ECCM system that enables reliable, non-stop GPS operation.
The sophisticated iSNS/V1 solution provides full jamming immunity for multiple satellite channels, and
handles multiple interfering signals and/or jammers operating on concurrent frequencies.
Utilizing the null-steering principle, iSNS/V1 enables immediate availability and uninterrupted
communications, and provides superior performance due to the maximization of RF capabilities. Delivering
a unique level of flexibility, the iSNS/V1 works with all types of GPS systems. It offers extensive protection
from jamming, without any prior knowledge of GPS satellite locations or GPS receiver antenna locations,
and despite any antenna heading/pitch/roll.

Cellular Solutions
Airborne COMINT cellular system is capable of monitoring, recording and transmitting GSM phone
communications (both conversations and SMS). The system has source phone location capability and the
ability to transmit gathered intelligence information to a variety of sources on the ground via the use of
data links. Handling several conversations in parallel, the system’s cellular phone configuration locates
and blocks incoming and outgoing calls, and can intercept a cellular phone user with full functionality,
including SMS transmissions.

AIRBORNE SELF PROTECTION

All-in-SmallTM Complete Airborne Self-Protection Suite

All-in-Small is a cutting-edge, integrated EW suite in a single LRU, with comprehensive, advanced EW
capabilities. It is comprised of an EWC– Electronic Warfare Controller, RWR – digital Radar Warning Receiver,
PAWS – IR Missile Warning System, LWS - advanced Laser Warning System and CFD
- Chaff/Flare Dispensing system.
The system is extremely small and lightweight and has a modular and open
architecture with multiple interface abilities. The suite can be effectively
integrated with direct infra-red countermeasure (DIRCM) systems, due to its high
range detection and direction finding (DF) accuracy, by operating both in the
same wavelength, thus enabling extremely fast hand-over from IR PAWS to
DIRCM and enhancing deception probability. All-in-Small can be provided together
with IR-CentricTM, a multi-spectral emitter, as well as geo-location and net-centric
capabilities.

Air Keeper EW & SIGINT Solution for Aircraft
A highly advanced solution that provides two significantly critical capabilities in one: intelligence gathering
and EW defensive capacities onboard the same platform. The solution enables the aircraft to perform
missions for any existing aircraft such as cargo, tanker, transport and others.

PAWS
The PAWS family of IR-based (Infrared) Passive Warning Systems provides a comprehensive, turn-key
solution for airborne platforms. The sophisticated IR Missile Warning Systems (MWS) enhance airborne
platform survivability by providing advance warning of the presence of threatening
missiles - and by automatic management of all types of applicable
countermeasures available onboard.
The PAWS family of systems operates either as stand-alone, self-contained
systems, or as part of a complete EW Defense Aid Suite (DAS). The systems provide
threat information to other EW and/or avionic systems for centralized /Human
Machine Interface (HMI) management.
