Important Notices
Monday,

We would like to welcome all Grandparents and Special Friends of Emmaus Primary Students to join your
student from 9:00am on Monday 12 September 2016 and observe classroom activities and displays.
Following this, morning tea will be served from 10:00am in the Primary courtyard and at 11:00am the
Primary Production of The Reluctant Dragon will be shown in the Gymnasium.
Online prebooked tickets for the Monday Matinee Primary School Production of The Reluctant Dragon
have now SOLD OUT, however tickets for the Tuesday Matinee are still available along with Tuesday &
Wednesday 6:00pm evening sessions.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child will commence next week. We will be sending home a
shoebox to each family and encouraging them to fill it up over the holidays and
return it to school before the end of October. It is a great way we can broaden the
views of our students to those less fortunate than ourselves.

SRC Hot Dog Orders
Our SRC students will resume selling hot dogs from Week 8 onwards on Fridays during
Term 3. Hot dogs are $2 each; orders need to be in the box by Thursday morning.

The Reluctant Dragon – Primary School Production – Booking Online Now

Please note that seating is limited for each session, so make sure you book your tickets early!
If your child has a role in the main Cast, please make sure you check the dates that they will be
performing online before securing your tickets. You would have received a note home in reference to
this (Cast - Knights & Dragons). Please note that all other Primary students will be in all performances. If

Parent Teacher Interviews
Are Your Contact Details Up To Date?
Is your address and email up to date? In a couple of weeks we will be sending out
the details for access to your online registration for Parent Teacher Interviews.
Parent Teacher Interview login details will be emailed home in week 10.
Online booking through our website will open on Wednesday 21st Sept (week 10) at noon and close at
noon on Monday 10th October (week 1), get in quickly as spots fill up.
Dates are Term 4 Tuesday 11th & Wednesday 12th October, 3.30pm to 6.30pm, interview slots are 10
minutes long, please respect each other’s appointments and try to keep to the schedule.

Thursday, 15th September at 7:30pm.

REMINDER to all Staff, Visitors & Parent Helpers
School Sign In & Out Process
We would like to remind all Staff, Visitors and Parent Helpers to
the school to Sign In and Out at the Front Office. Upon sign in you
will be given a badge identifying your visit status. You will also be
required to have your WWVP on you at all times. Please note that
this procedure is an essential requirement for the school to
account for all people on the school premises in the case of an
emergency and to also assist in the safety of the students and Staff
at the school.

Community Service Announcements
School Holiday Camps
Zone 40 is a residential camp at Wee Jasper, with activities including caving, messy games,
night glow-stick games, campfire, crate stacking (supported by a belay rope) and other fun
adventurous activities. It's on from 27-30th September.
SUPA Sports is a day camp that will be held at Emmaus Christian School during school hours
4-7th October. Learn new sports, play rugby and soccer.
