Research Project: Complete animal research presentations in the old computer lab using the smart board.
Students must be logged in under his/her own username.

9:30- 10:15: Mrs. Crocker – Sparkey’s Fire Safety – Use online safety videos and interactive games to
incorporate Kindergarten teacher’s Fire Safety Week.
10:15-11:10: Planning
11:10-11:55: Mrs. Brust – Students wil choose their book for our upcoming voice recording project. Students
should choose a book that is on his/her AR level. The book MUST have dialogue – we wil discuss the
term dialogue in great detail. Students wil read the book and take an AR test. They wil put their name
on their book and stick it in a tub for next week’s lesson.
11:55-12:30: Lunch
12:30-1:15: Ms. Reader- Thesaurus Work – Students wil work together in a group to learn the importance
and details of using a thesaurus. Students wil access a Thesaurus Worksheet on my teacher homepage.
1:15-2:00: Miss Irvine- Switcharoo at the Zoo – learn about animal habitats, diets, and invent your own animal
by combining two existing ones.
2:00-2:30- Redstreak Math Club
2:30-3:00: Bus Duty- Out front with Mr. Rockwell
