Gauge from the front of the reel first and always begin alignment on the left side of the reel. After gauging from
the front, gauge from the bottom of the reel using the same process. When gauging, move carriage or tooling bar
so the gauge reads 1-1/2 times opposite of initial reading, as shown below.
