HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO PURCHASE A TICKET
You must be 18 years of age to purchase.
CAN SOMEONE PURCHASE A TICKET IF THEY LIVE OUTSIDE OF SASKATCHEWAN?
Anyone can purchase tickets if they are in the province of Saskatchewan at the time of
purchase. Tickets will be emailed to the address you provided at purchase.
HOW DO I ORDER MONEY IN MOTION 50/50 TICKETS?
Go to muscle.ca/moneyinmotion
Your tickets will be sent to you by email at the email address provided. Tickets and the sales
receipt are sent separately. If you wish to have tickets mailed it is an additional fee of $5 to
cover postage and administrative costs.
WHO IS NOT ELIGIBLE TO PURCHASE A TICKET?
The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Raffle or to win any prize: Officers,
directors, shareholders, members, agents and consultants of Muscular Dystrophy Canada and
Tap 50:50 Event Consultants.
I HAVE NOT YET RECEIVED MY TICKETS . WHAT DO I DO?
The first step is to check your spam folder. If you find your tickets in your spam folder please
mark us as “not spam” to ensure you receive them for future orders. If you are sure you still
don’t have the tickets and you paid for them, then send an email to [email protected] with your
transaction details.
CAN I CANCEL MY TICKET(S) AND RECEIVE A REFUND?
All sales are final. Sorry, there are no refunds. Once a ticket number has been assigned to you,
it is eligible to win a prize.

The odds of winning are dependent on the number of tickets sold.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I WIN?
Potential winners will be selected by an approved RNG (random number generator). One draw
will be made. The draw will take place April 21, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Saskatoon office of
Muscular Dystrophy Canada. The winning ticket number will be posted online at
muscle.ca/moneyinmotion
Muscular Dystrophy Canada will phone the potential winner and advise of next steps to claim
their prize. Owners of eligible entries need not be present in person at the draw to win. Once it
has been determined that you are the official winner, your prize will be sent to you by cheque
within 30 days to the address you provided.
Prizes must be claimed within 1 year of the draw date.
WHO IS TAP 50:50?
Tap50:50 is the technology provider for the Money in Motion raffle. They are licensed by SLGA
to provide electronic and online raffles in the province of Saskatchewan.
WHAT IS STRIPE? IS THIS A SECURE PAYMENT METHOD?

ARE LOTTERY TICKETS TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
Lottery tickets are non-tax deductible in accordance with Canada Customs and Revenue

ARE LOTTERY WINNINGS TAXABLE?
Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and are not taxable in Canada.

WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY?

personal information, to administer and oversee the Lottery, including contacting, announcing,
and promoting Prize winners. This Lottery is run in compliance with the Muscular Dystrophy of

WHY IS MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY CANADA RUNNING A LOTTERY?
This lottery is a pilot program to help us determine the benefits of using this platform for
fundraising. As the demand for client support increases, we need to explore new ways to
ensure we can continue to support individuals living with a neuromuscular disorder.
Lotteries play an important role in attracting new supporters, increasing awareness and
generating considerable revenue for our mission. Lotteries are self-funding and no donor dollars
are used to support the program.

WHERE DO THE FUNDS RAISED GO?
Funds raised by the Money in Motion 50/50 raffle will support the equipment program in
Saskatchewan.
WHAT IS THE TOTAL JACKPOT IN THE 50/50 DRAW?
The jackpot continues to grow as ticket sales increase. There will be one winner receiving 50%
of the total jackpot at end of sales on April 20, 2017. You can check the jackpot amount at
muscle.ca/moneyinmotion.
