Remove the USB cover and connect the MP3 player to the PC via the USB port. You can connect the player directly, or via the extension cable. The System will automatically find a new USB Device. 1. Connect to your PC. 2. Click OK when this window shown appears. 3. The removable disk will be displayed. 2. Insert the CD in the CD-ROM drive. Follow the prompts on the screen to install the MP3 driver If the USB driver is not automatically recognized by Windows 98SE: 1. Go to Control Panel\System\Device Manager\Other Devices. Double click the "USB Device" with the exclamation or question mark. . READY 3. Click the 'Re-install driver'icon. Follow the update driver wizard to complete the installation. When the LCD window in the player displays “Ready" the file download can start. 4. Re-boot your computer after installation. Windows 2000, ME, XP, Mac OSX: The system will auto-recognise the player. No action is needed. 5 DRM and Lyric Files ! ! DRM Files are rights protected files downloaded from the Internet. The player supports DRM 9. For further information consult the User Manual which is bundled with the Utilities Disc. Lyric Files: You can download lyrics and store them on the player as a .LRC file. When you replay the song, the words scroll with the music. Full information is on the User Manual. 6 Preparing the Player ! ! ! Install the AAA battery. Unwrap the battery. Slide the battery compartment cover off and insert the battery observing the+ and – marks. Replace the cover. Connect the earphones to the EARPHONE socket.
