Compassion — Noun — The emotion we feel
when others are suffering that makes us want to help them.
Compassion means “When you feel hurt, I want to help you feel better.” There are 2 big parts of compassion. First, we have to know
how others feel! We can look at their face, their body language and
the clues around them. Second, we need to figure out how we can
help others to feel better!
We can show compassion for someone who is sad by giving them a
hug or just asking if they are ok. We can show compassion for a
younger sibling who falls down and scrapes his knee by helping him
up and cleaning his cut. We can help the less fortunate people by
doing charity work. There are many ways to show compassion. As
martial artists, we should show compassion!

At the QUAK of dawn!
Why did the girl smear peanut butter on the road?
To go with the traffic jam!

CRYPTOGRAM
Each number represents a letter. Some are filled in for you. Can
you guess the rest? HINT: Think of words with the letters you have.
CONNECT THE DOTS
You need two players. The first player draws a line between two adjacent dots. The two dots can be
anywhere on the page, but most be vertical or horizontal. (Diagonal lines are not allowed.) The next
player does the same. The goal is to close four sides of a box. Each time you create a box, put your
initials in the box, and you go again. The player who creates the most boxes wins!
