About the Camp of Dreams Children

WENDY
Wendy is 10 years old. She has some learning disabilities.
She is a good worker, helps her teachers, enjoys school and is
very well behaved. She likes to have adult attention, loves the
parties and field trips.
ANDRES, JHON, ANGELA & SANTIAGO
Andres is 14 years old. He and his siblings live in a foster home that they have
been at since 2008. He describes himself
as being honest, kind, respectful and
responsible. He is a loving person and
sometimes can be very helpful. He likes
soccer and math. Diagnosed with ADHD
and is being treated.
Angela is 10 years old. She is also at
the foster home with her siblings and has
been there since the age of four. Angela
is respectful, detail oriented, talkative
and interacts easily with others. Angela is
being treated for ADHD.
Jhon is 12 years old. He arrived at the
foster home at age 6. He is a kind, responsible and a cooperative child. He enjoys
drawing and sports.
Santiago is 8 years old. He is an intelligent, kind, respectful, loving responsible boy who likes to paint and draw. He
likes playing soccer with his siblings and
enjoys basketball. He enjoys also being a
helper to others.
JUAN
Juan is 14 years old. He is currently in the 4th grade. Juan currently
lives in a foster home. He has bonded
well with the foster mother and foster
sister. He is socially skilled and adapts
easily to different situations. He is respectful to peers and adults. Juan does
well in school and loves the game of
soccer.
For Juan, a family means all
members living together with love
and happiness.
Juan is at the age that this is the
last chance he may have to participate
in a program to be connected with a
family.
MAYRA & ROCIO
Rocio is 14 years old. She shares most
of her free time with her twin sister,
Mayra - they are very close. They live
together at an institution with about 160
other children.
Rocio is cheerful, but reserved. She
participates in activities with others
easily. She enjoys school and gets
good grades.
Mayra is 14 years old. She is a good
student and works hard to keep up her
grades. Mayra enjoys singing, dancing
and sporting activities. She is responsible, cheerful, peaceful and expresses her
feelings easily.
Mayra’s fears are loneliness and being
separated from her sister
Rocio.
ERIKA & EYNER
Erika is 14 years old. She lives at a
foster home and she has coped well
in the family environment.
Erika gets good grades and has a
good behavior. She loves sports - she
plays on a basketball team.
Eyner is 9 years old. He is
Erika´s brother - they have a close
relationship.
Eyner is described as a sweet boy
who does well in school, gets good
grades and has a good behavior.
DAIRON & BRAYAN
Dairon is 13 years old. He emotionally stable - gets good grades in school and
adapts easily to change. He is respectful,
honest and sincere. Dairon has optimistic hopes to achieve big things in life.
Dairon is thankful that his brother,
Brayan, is with him at the institution. He
loves spending time with Brayan. Dairon
wants to have a family that will give him
lots of love, affection, and protection.
Brayan is 8 years old. He loves physical activity like soccer, bicycling & scooting. His reading, writing and cognitive
skills are standard for his age.
Brayan is excited about the possibility of having a family - his hope is to
avoid the experience of abandonment
once and for all.
Brayan and his brother, Dairon, are
Roman Catholic and go to mass once a
week.
GUIDO
Guido is 13 years old. He is calm and motivated at school
- he is advanced in his academic abilities. Guido’s sporting skills
are very good. He enjoys running, soccer, rollerblading and
outdoor activities. Guido takes the initiative to be a leader when
playing with other kids at the institution where he lives.
