We’ve come a long way since our one & only product was
the Original Snooza Dog Bed. Many beds made, many roads
travelled & a few loves lost (Jack & Slugger are no longer
with us – but Ernie’s been filling our lives with a mountain of
love). We’re continuing to grow (thanks to you!), always on
the look out for new things & better ways of doing what we
do – hence some fab new products & heaps of little extra
improvements that we think make a ‘Snooza’ bed just that bit
more special.

We believe in what we do
We love happy customers & confidently back our materials & workmanship
with a 100% LIFETIME GUARANTEE against flaws & defects.
We still believe ‘it’s better to buy once well than many times poorly’ & as
such we are not prepared to compromise our quality for price. In keeping
with this policy & our commitment to the environment, replacement parts
are available for most of our range.
We’re strongly committed to recycling. We recycle our paper, plastic &
steel & even the lunch scraps go to our worm farm! Our fabric scraps are
either donated to local schools or recycled into blankets.
We don’t forget about you
Whilst we cannot guarantee against the damage pets can cause, we do
offer a FREE REPAIR SERVICE in an effort to extend the life of our products.
Rani (our diligent repairer) works hard to make sure that your pet’s bed (or
what’s left of it) is still usable. To help us make sure she doesn’t leave us,
please clean your bed before sending it back to us for repair.
Replacement parts, if required, will be charged at a minimal cost.

And so are our products! Replacement parts, quality materials, our repair
service… are all part of what makes a Snooza product last. Even when you
can no longer use it there may be somebody else who can – read about

How to choose the right size…
Small for small dogs (e.g. Pug)
Medium for medium dogs (e.g. Staffordshire Bull Terrier)
Large for large dogs (e.g. Dalmatian)
X-large for X-large dogs (e.g. Rottweiler)
However, as silly as it sounds, the best recommendation we can give is to
measure your pet while it’s sleeping & compare this to our product
measurements. We could add complicated sizing diagrams to our brochure
but as some dogs are oversized for their breed, some like to spread out,
others like to curl into a ball – you’re really the best person to judge.

Washing a Snooza…
Very important for looking good, smelling nice & keeping the fleas away – so
we aim to make all of our products as wash friendly as possible. Each
product has a washing instructions label attached or, visit our website at
www.snooza.com.au/care-instructions.shtml Most beds are designed to fit
into a normal washing machine but it is dependant upon the size & type of
your machine. We have found that as the products get bigger they're more
suited to a laundrette’s ‘doona washing machine’ & that overall, front loaders
are kinder.

Our steel frame beds are made to last. Raised approximately 20cm off the
ground, the beds ensure cold air flows under rather than through your pet.
The durable, flexible covers help prevent pressure sores & relieve many hip
complaints & arthritis.
True to our promise of uncompromising quality, our sturdy frames will
generally outlast the covers. So we offer replacement covers for all our raised
beds that are a cinch to fit! You can also mix & match your covers – an
Original cover on our Flea-Free Dog Bed frame or our Fleaproofer cover on

The Original
Snooza Dog Bed
Made to withstand the harshest conditions, this is the bed that started us
in 1989! We use 25.4mm steel tube galvanised on both
sides (so that it
won’t rust from the inside out), weld the frame at all contact points & then
hand sew (we will never use staples) a new durable jute cover on it.
Original covers (these are the replacement covers), Fleaproofer covers
& accessories are available.

Pet Futon
Probably our most popular product & one we’ve been manufacturing for
over 15 years, the Pet Futon offers the ultimate in versatility & comfort
for your pet. Inside a calico cover we put Australian wool blended with
polyester to ensure it’s a breeze to keep clean (it’s machine washable &
dry cleanable!). We close the cover, quilt the Futon to keep the filling in
place & then encase it with a removable, printed calico, washable cover.
Warm in winter, cool in summer. This is the first product we exported &
we’re proud of it. Ideal for the car, weekends away, in the kennel or even
on one of our raised beds!

‘Ernie’ on a large size
D1000
Made from super tough 1000 denier fabric, not only is the D1000
washable, Teflon coated, UV treated, flea-free, re-fillable AND water
repellent it also looks so good you might need two - one for inside & one
for outside! The cover is sealed with a completely hidden extra durable zip
& the inner is also zippered to allow for easy washing & fresh filling. We’d
never call any of our beds ‘indestructible’ (they're for dogs after all) but this
bed is tough with a capital T!

to match. We’ve used 130mm thick foam to provide the perfect support for
tired paws (& feet!). Complete with detachable, adjustable chrome legs &

to eyeing off our pet’s bed as somewhere we’d like to snuggle ourselves

Brilliantly clever (kudos to NASA!) memory foam tops the thick inner of this
bed. It really needs to be felt to be believed but moulds beautifully to the
contours of a dog’s body ensuring all over, even support. Its low impact,
dampening affect makes it ideal for older dogs, big or heavy dogs & dogs
with joint problems. The wrap around zip makes the fully washable cover
so easy to get on & off AND gives you the option to interchange tops

A basket style foam (40mm thick) bed with a quilted cushion. The
innovative contoured shape, with its high back, keeps pets free from any
draughts around their back. Just like the Buddy Bed® you can turn it inside
out (the body) & upside down (the cushion) to create up to four different
looks. The removable, reversible cushion is filled with our special Snoozafill®
& frequent washing ensures it always retains its loft. Titch had her pups in
a Pet Lounger & we used two Lounger cushions & just washed & dried
one every night while she used the other!

Our magnetic therapy bed
spent loads of time with our
chosen testers (thanks to all
that applied!). With such great
feedback we couldn't wait to get this on the market & hopefully start
relieving a few aches & pains. In consultation with an accredited magnetic
therapist the polarity, shape & positioning of the magnets has been
specifically designed for animals. We ensured the mat was low profile for
easy access but the sizes also suit our raised beds. The fabulously
durable, 600 denier ripstop cover we designed with as few seams as
possible to ensure maximum water resistance (making it ideal for
incontinent dogs) & the optional elasticised woolly ‘topper’ fits over the
existing cover easily - a great way to add extra warmth.

way to travel in style. Plus it keeps your car nice & clean! The mat insert is
removable & reversible. A woolly side for a snugglier ride & a super tough,

walks... The outer also works just as well on its own as a protective lining

At last, a puppy friendly
product! We’ve been turning
people away for years – we’re
mad, but we just can’t bear to
sell our products to puppies
when more often than not they
become puppy food. Our
suggestion has always been a
good, strong cardboard box &
an old towel or blanket. But
wait…why turn people away when
WE can come up with the best
‘cardboard box’ there is! Providing a
secure, enclosed environment (very comforting ‘Joey’
for a dog who’s missing its mum) this makes an
ideal new home. Made from fully recycled cardboard with a door off to the
side so your pet can still see the world (with a few crayons you or your kids
can add your personal touch). The Puppy Cubby comes flatpacked & is

A very sophisticated client (no names!) gave
us her wish list. She wanted to:- carry (& hide
until she got there) the ball & toys; store those
ugly plastic 'clean up' bags; stash the mobile
(but still find it when it rang); bring the keys
without the incessant rattle; take her wallet
(café lattes calling); pocket the treats (bribes
for having café lattes) & definitely &
categorically do it in style. Everything was to
be hidden but all was to be in easy reach.

at the factory for all our lunch scraps.
We recycle all our paper, plastic & steel
& try to give to local schools all our
offcuts. The larger pieces we couldn’t
part with so we turned them into
designer bones – great fun, a great toy
& a great gift.

Save-a-Bed Scheme
Sadly, there's a high demand out there for beds & blankets for homeless,
stray & abused animals. Whilst we try to help where we can, it will never be
enough. We also know that as your pets grow, your tastes change, new
products are released (this one's our fault really!), or you simply need to
upgrade your current bed, you might just end up with a Snooza bed that
you no longer need. So rather than just creating landfill, or filling up the
garage we thought, why not share the love & pass it on? Thus the 'Save-aBed' Scheme was born.
So, PLEASE, if you have an old Snooza product tucked away that you no
longer need, we're happy to cover the cost of getting it to our factory &
even patch it up if it needs some repairs (we would appreciate it if you
could wash it first though). We'll organise to get it to those that need it most.
