GENERAL INFORMATION
Prom tickets will be going on sale Monday 4/10/17. Tickets cost $40 All fees and fines must be paid in order to purchase tickets.
The Cedar Point trip is on Monday, May 22nd. Tickets will go on sale Monday April 24th.
Congratulations to Warhawk writer Lauren Watts whose essay earned Honorable Mention at the state level of the Letters About
Literature competition. Lauren’s letter to author Paula Danziger competed against hundreds of letters submitted state-wide in
the high school division for this year's contest.
Students taking the English 1 Ohio State Test, your testing room location for Monday is posted on the front entrance doors, the
bus entrance doors, the student parking lot entrance doors, and the guidance office windows. Please be sure to check your room
location before Monday's test. See your school counselor if there are any questions.

GUIDANCE
The Genoa Township Firefighters are offering a scholarship for a senior interested in the field of public safety. Please come to
guidance for details. Deadline to apply is April 21st.
GROUPS AND ORGANIZATIONS
4-Hawks will meet in the library tomorrow (4/7) 2:25 to 3:15. If you can't make the meeting but still want to be part of the group,

CLASS NEWS
There will be a Senior Class Meeting today (4/6) in the gym.at 9:15. The Senior panoramic picture will be taken during this
meeting. All Seniors need to plan to attend.
Seniors: Please fill out the senior survey in your Family Connection Account by April 17th. We must have a completed survey
from each senior in order to send a final transcript to the colleges you will be attending next year. We also use this survey to
recognize students at the Evening of Excellence Night for awards and scholarships they have received.

Attention Seniors: The Evening of Excellence Night is on May 16th. Please check the list outside of the guidance office about the
awards you will be receiving. Your awards will be listed by your ID number. If have any questions about the awards that you
may or may not be receiving please see your counselor ASAP.
Attention Class of 2017!! Think you might have what it takes to be a speaker at Graduation or Senior Night of Reflection?
Guidelines for both of these speeches can be found on the column between rooms 2302 and 2304. Speeches are due tomorrow
(4/7) and auditions will take place April 12 and 13 after school. If you have questions, stop by room 2304 to ask Mrs. Erlinger or
talk to your English teacher.
THE ARTS
