58EFB gas furnace for horizontal
installations. Requiring only a six-inch
clearance on all sides, this gas furnace fits
into the tightest spaces. Carrier’s 58EFB
gas furnace allows virtually any homeowner to enjoy energy-efficient indoor weather,
even if space is limited.

PERFORMANCE
Once installed, the 58EFB
is designed to perform. With 80%
Comfort and the ease of installation
of additional components is a result of
the electronic control center. By delaying
the blower, the control center allows the
heat exchangers to heat up, virtually
eliminating cold drafts at start-up. The
control center also allows easy connection of additional Carrier components.
Added comfort and energy savings
is delivered by the aluminized steel
burners and the S-shaped heat
exchanger. The monoport, in-shot design
and S-shaped heat exchanger transfers
most of the useable heat from the
furnace into your living space. The
aluminized steel construction is
corrosion-resistant for long-lasting
durability.
Durability and good looks is assured
by the pre-painted cabinet. The scratchresistant finish helps prevent cabinet
corrosion for long-lasting protection.

slow opening gas valve. This component
reliably starts the heating process for
