The purpose of the worksheets is to provide the students with the terminology which would help to describe routine police officer’s duties and responsibilities, the structure, ranks and the tasks of both the Lithuanian police and police forces abroad. Specialized professional language vocabulary, phrases and terms cover several basic police topics, i.e. police officer’s job and daily responsibilities, Lithuanian police tasks and ranks, and police forces abroad (e.g. Great Britain, Canada, Australia, etc.). Worksheets will be uploaded and available for access with the help of distance learning system “Moodle” which allows the students to check their answers, get feedbacks and do the tasks again. The tasks will help to develop English language skills and to consolidate the knowledge gained during the English language lessons.
