The ARLINGTON COUNTY GEOGRAPHIC
DATA CD is published annually by the GIS
MAPPING CENTER. This product serves as
the primary method for the MAPPING
CENTER to distribute its geographic data
electronically to the general public and
business communities. Hard copy maps are
also available from the MAPPING CENTER,
through the Engineering Customer Service
Counter.
The DATA CD contains the same data used
to the create the standard hard copy maps,
allowing you to use your software to create
maps on your own, or to interactively view
and analyze the data. There is no installation
program required to view it; you may simply
point your software to your CD-ROM drive
to access the data directly from the CD, or
you may copy the data to your computer’s
hard drive.
Data is provided in Personal Geodatabase
v9.0 format in NAD83 Virginia State Plane
