It is part of the 400 year centenary of William Shakespeare’s death and will reinterpret his works in a contemporary setting and format for Newham Heritage Week, rendering it more relevant to diverse communities & young people. East Ham Heritage Walk Take an entertaining and insightful journey back in history with local resident and professional walk leader Sue Sinton Smith. During this gentle two hour stroll the knowledgeable Sue will regale you with tales from the Norman era, to the history of Central Park and on to the present day. The walk starts at East Ham tube station(High St North) at 1pm and ends at 3pm at the oldest Norman Church in London, Mary Magdalen (1 Norman Road E6 6HN).
