Volcanoes, beaches, rainforest, Mayan culture and outstanding motorcycling Central
America.
Starting in Guatemala we ride to the northern part of the country, where three beautiful lakes are waiting
for us. Another highlight in the early part of our journey is the famous archaeological site of Tikal, located
in the middle of the rainforest. Next country is sparsely populated Belize, known for its immense
biodiversity. From here, Mexico‘s Yucatán peninsula is waiting just round the corner.
A definite highlight is our rest day in the Cancún area, a centre of Mayan civilisation in pre-Spanish times.
Today it’s a tourist centre, offering world-class diving and snorkelling. On our way back to the
mountainous south-eastern corner of Mexico we take in the Mayan sites of Chichen Itza and Palenque.
The breathtaking Blue Waterfalls will tempt you to take pictures and a refreshing dip. The last riding days
of our tour takes us back on splendid mountain roads all the way to the gorgeous scenery of our final
highlight, Lake Atitlán. What an amazing tour, can’t we just continue?
