Our Father who Art in Heaven What does
this mean? With these words God tenderly

Math- We will be learning forms of
numbers, how to compare numbers, how to
order numbers, and locating numbers on a
number line. They will have a possible test
over Module 2 next week.
Religion – We will learn the Tower of Babel,
and then start the story of Abram and Sarai.
Come check out their Noah’s Arks in the
hallway, they did a great job!
Reading: We will be reading Days with Frog
and Toad. This is a story by Arnold Lobel.
We will be learning how to compare and
contrast. We will also be learning the
subject, or naming parts, of sentences.

Phonics – We will be learning the other 2
sounds of ch, the voiced s, combination er
and ir.
Science – We will be learning how scientists
think and using what we have learned to
solve a problem. Science Test over Unit 1
on Friday! You will be receiving this week
their lapbook (notes) and Unit 1 section
from their books to study with before
Friday.
Social Studies – We will be learning about
rules and responsibilities. They will have a
quiz on Thursday.
Computer – We will be introducing
computers. How to care for them,
vocabulary, and introducing what we will be
learning.
Writing Workshop – We will be learning
how to write paragraphs.
Wonder Time – They have a project picked.
We will start researching this week.
Art – We will be mixing colors.
Geography Day – We will be exploring
South America.
Health – We will be reviewing good hygiene
and making posters as a reminder. We will
also be checking on the bread.
