Transportation Services
If you need transportation to an appointment through Chatham Transit you must make your reservation at least 48 hours before
your desired pick up time.

Fares are charged per mile:




0 to 5 miles: $2.00
5 to 10 miles: $4.00
10 to 20 miles: $7.00
20 or more miles: $3.00 for each 10 mile increment
If the person with a dental appointment is enrolled in Medicaid, Health Check or Health Choice and needs transportation to their
appointment please call the Chatham County Medicaid Transportation Coordinator, Seleny Garcia, at the Department of Social
Services to arrange transportation: 919-642-6970 Arrangements must be made at least 3 business days before your desired pick up
time. Mileage reimbursement is also available for Medicaid recipients who want to use personal transportation. Please call the
Transportation Coordinator before your appointment.
