Fri 1 May 2015 – Competition Friday
This will involve three stations of mini competitions (How many sweets in the jar, Guess the movie
and Solve the puzzle) that will be available to play for the whole day. A prize will be offered to the
winner of each competition, and it will cost £1 to play each game.
Monday 4 May 2015 – Bank Holiday Baking
Staff are encouraged to bake on this bank holiday, taking and posting pictures to Twitter, using
the hashtags above to generate awareness for Meningitis.
Tuesday 5 May 2015 – Cycle to Work Tuesday
For those who are able, please cycle to work this Tuesday, tweeting and using social media to
document your journey.
Wednesday 6 May 2015 – Give up Social Media Wednesday
Each person is encouraged to give up Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms for the
day. We bet it’s harder than it sounds and if you do cheat, why not donate a pound or two to
charity?
Thursday 7 May 2015 – Baby Photo Competition
31 babies but who are they? Try and guess them all to be in with a chance of winning a prize.
Friday 8 May 2015 – Wear Orange Friday
Wear orange to work – the official colour of May Mayhem and while you are at it, show your
support for those suffering with meningitis and donate some money.
Monday 11 May 2015 – No Mobile Phones Monday
You thought no social media was difficult, try giving up your mobile phone for the day. No calls,
no texts… Can anyone last the entire working day? We urge you to be honest if you slip and
donate £1 to charity.
Tuesday 12 May 2015 – Give up meat Tuesday
Let your inner vegetarian shine and give up meat for the day. Don’t forget to tweet and hashtag as
you go.
Wednesday 13 May 2015 – Walk to work Wednesday
For those who are able, please walk to work this Wednesday, tweeting and using social media to
document your journey.
Thursday 14 May 2015 – Lock up your Boss Thursday
Hopefully we will get the buy-in of 6 bosses. They will be locked in their offices, equipped with
nothing but a phone. The boss who fundraises the most money, will be released at certain
intervals. Similarly, the bosses team can fundraise to keep their boss locked up for longer.
Friday 15 May 2015 – Man versus Food versus Man
The men of IT v the men of General Office in the ultimate food contest… to determine who is more
man than the rest! Come and watch and if you fancy, place a wager on which team will win.
Monday 18 May 2015 – Bring your lunch to work Monday
Please could everyone bring their lunch to work today instead of buying it and donate the money
they would have spent to Meningitis Now.
Tuesday 19 May 2015 – Sports Day

Can you make it the whole day without swearing? We bet you cant!... Each profanity will cost you a
pound. Who will end up donating the most?

Do you know your Nadal’s from your Djokovic’s? Your aces from your double faults? Well then this
is the sweepstake for you. Pick your player from the hat and if they win, so do you… Its that
simple.

Collections will take place during the day for charity so have your loose change securely fitted to

need of something new to read. Bring in your old books to sell and while you are there, buy a few
titles that are available. All for a good cause.

Thursday 28 May 2015 – Silent Thursday
Each team will nominate one person to be silent for the day. Each time they speak, a member of
the team has to donate £1.
Friday 29 May 2015 – Dress up your Boss Friday
This will require the buy-in of three Partners who are willing to dress up for the day. People can
donate to vote for what each partner should dress up as.
