I'm so sorry to hear about Duane. I haven't seen him for quite some time, but
remember him as a piano student who loved to make music. My sympathy is
extended to all of his family and friends.

My Husband and I have known Tony and Duane for over 18yrs. Duane was
such a bright spot in our lives. His smile was infectious and once the two of us
would get laughing we would both be in tears. We loved when he had stop
overs in Tulsa we would go out to dinner and hang out with him for a few.
Duane and Tony invited us to the Balloon Festival in Tulsa I got to go twice Jer
one time and OMG we had so much fun. Duane will be dearly dearly missed.
But is love will live on in every single person who ever met him. He is amazing
all around us. Love you forever Duane.
TAMMI S HAUSMAN, AUGUST 17, 2009
I've known Duane and Tony for over 20 years and worked with both of them
when we were younger. I will never forget his adventurous spirit and love of
life. He will always live on in my heart and memories. I can remember him
taking me to my first musical Starlite Express at the civic center in Des
Moines. He had a love for the arts and music like no one I've ever met. When
he and Tony moved to Dallas he was so excited. There are not enough words
to describe how much he gave to the community or how good a person Duane
was. He was like a brother to me. My thoughts are with Tony at this hard time.
MICHAEL YOUNG, AUGUST 17, 2009
There are many things that I will remember about Duane a few of those things
will be: Our "Coffee Clutch " once a week, his infectious laugh, the latest
updates on the newest CD'S that I MUST buy!, the Greatest movie that I
MUST see! Updates on him and Tony and their most recent adventures
involving travel or concerts or both! :) The newest additions to the house,
Teasing him about taking Tony to P.F.Chang's! Our ongoing conspiracies to
get Tony out of the office and into a bar for "Just one drink". New Year's Eve of
the millennium, Our day trips to Oak Lawn for shopping and lunch. His Honest
Love of Disney and childlike amazement of the magic every time he went. His
love of my children and the adoration that he felt for each of his nieces. The
genuine excitement you could hear and feel when he had found or planned the
"Perfect surprise for Tony", I've never met another person who could host a
better gathering of friends. His ability to accept you for who you are short
comings and all and love you with his WHOLE HEART! Duane will be greatly
missed for all my days yet to come.
KRISTINA MYERS, AUGUST 16, 2009
I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is with you all.
LINDA GOODE, AUGUST 16, 2009
Duane was one of my few close friends growing up in Indianola, Iowa. In high
school, our lockers were close so we saw each other several times during the
day and we often ate lunch together. The enthusiasm in his laugh is what I
remember most. He never held back and it usually got me laughing too! He
gave Larry and I our first hot air balloon ride up around Denton, Texas, here a
few years back. I've never felt so safe and alive at the same time. He was
good at whatever he did. He was musically gifted, and amazing on roller
skates. We'll miss you, but I feel blessed that were able to reconnect in recent
years.

I going to miss Duane, i had the chance to have fun with him for the four to five
years being one of his crew mwmbers for "Jewel of the Nile". He always kept
me laughing. We had alot fun rides together, like the time in Albq when we
were headed straight for the airport and trying to find a landing spot, boy those
planes look big!I'll miss you Duane. Russell Stewart

23 years of memories. Duane's infectious laugh always made me laugh. His
family always made me feel loved & welcome. The Sputnik, the groovy chair,
the grocery getter. Licky & the Pat Benatar song. I was so proud of him when
he graduated from Airline School(can't remember exactly what it was called) &
how handsome he was in his suit. We had so much fun at Disney Land &
Universal Studios. His "Church Lady" impression was perfect! Meeting Tony
for the first time & how happy I was they were together. I have so many more
memories to cherish. He has accomplished so many things & I will always be
so proud of him & love him so much.
LAURIE RAE WELLS, AUGUST 13, 2009
I will always remember Duane, so charming and full of life! We shared many
laughs and lots of fun. As a fellow "Eulessian", Duane took me on my first hot
air balloon flight. His smile lit up the sky as he soared through the clouds! Soar
high, and keep smiling my friend! My thoughts and prayers are with Tony and
your entire family. I will forever miss you - until we meet again!
