KISARAWE TERMINAL
In Kisarawe, 36 kilometers south west from Dar es Salaam, the company is investing in a dry
port facility. The main purpose for the facility will be the handling of various bulk commodities,
hazardous goods, metals and agricultural products. The company has acquired 100.000 m 2 of
land to develop for that purpose.
The first warehouse of 4500 m 2 was completed in November 2015 and received its first
consignment of cargo in early December during the same year. The facility will be linked to the
Tazara railway system.

LOGISA stands for Logistics Information & Innovation System East Africa. As the titel indicates
the LOGISA system consists of 2 major parts:
