The underside of the Masterlite table has a different design!
Instead of wood or plastic, the supporting slab is is a semi-rigid
sheet of industrial-grade woven nylon similar to that used in the
world's best luggage and mountaineering equipment. This is
joined to the tubular frame by hundreds of strong, flat laces.
The result: a little bit of give, a responsive feel to the table, and
a kind of comfort that cannot be duplicated with any amount of
foam! In addition to all that, this table has a really great
strength-to-weight ratio.
