Collecting Items in March
Thistle Farms is a sanctuary for healing for women survivors of
abuse, addiction, trafficking, and prostitution. It is located in West
Nashville (on the road behind Walmart). They also have a store
located on Charlotte Avenue.
For the month of March, we will be collecting items to be placed
in welcome baskets and move out baskets for women of Thistle
Farms. Please think of items which would be useful to a woman
who arrives at a residency with no belongings of her own (soap,
shampoo, conditioner, lotion, antiperspirant, feminine
hygiene products, magazines, healthy snacks, towel,
washcloth, pillow...)
For Move Out Baskets, we will fill with things that would be useful
on the day when a women graduates from the residential program
and moves into her own housing (healthy snacks, bottled
water, picture hanging kits, cleaning products, paper
products...) All Baskets are different and reflect the kindness of
each giver.

Opportunities Beyond the Church Walls
to Reach Our Community
April 8th
Join us as neighbors and friends celebrate Easter with Easter
Parties and Egg Hunts. These events are carefully planned so
neighbors can spend time together, strengthen relationships, and
build memories. At each event, the story of Jesus and His love for
us will be shared. Each Easter Party will have games, food, and
lots of eggs! In order for this to happen, we need your help and
talents!
Host an Easter Egg Hunt and Party
Share your yard and invite your friends and neighbors to a Easter
Egg Hunt and Party! If you are willing, we will provide the
supplies! Contact Susan Foster for more information.
