Call to Order: Brad called the meeting to order at 7:41pm.

Executive Board:
 President – Brad Silverbush
Staying with score for Comp uniforms / agreed to go with Kombat for recreational uniforms (they will use our leftover
uniforms before sending out new uniforms). Don brought up the potential cost of the rec uniforms with Kombat. Brad
will work on getting the final $$ for the rec uniforms.
Our light at Frog Pond fell over during the last storm/ someone (not a part of our group) used it, left it up, and now
the light is broken. Brad will check into whether our insurance will cover the broken light.
2017 calendar – March 16, 2017 Recreational Walk-in registration from 6PM-10PM (5PM for setup) *Need
multipurpose room; May 6, 2017 Recreational Walk-in registration 9:30AM-1:30PM (9AM for setup) *Need

multipurpose room; Brad will begin June 1 to rent fields for start of the season. Discussed having parents of players
join the appreciation dinner to help offset costs and have more involvement from the club.

1 VP – Jason Guzman
Report via JR. Coaches will observe the tryouts. At least 2 people from the board will run the tryouts. Jason, JR,
and Don plan to attend this weekend’s comp’s tryouts (Brad can help Sat afternoon) (Mark might be able to help as
well). Dana will run registration at the comp tryouts (Mary will help). Discussed what is needed to run the tryouts
regarding equipment.

2 VP – Don Oas
Fields- planning to reserve the same fields with the addition of Pleasant Grove. If needed, Don will reserve fields for
spring league.
Don brought up the new concussion protocol.
Mid March to mid May are the new spring dates for spring soccer. (Approx. 90.00 per team)
Creation of something resembling State cup for CYSA is in the works.

Secretary – Cindy Peil - No report

Treasurer – Ted Hoffman
Ted has successfully created and setup the new Square account. Ted presented the financial numbers for the club’s
various accounts.
Approx $1351.15 Teamsnap 20x55.00 plus $249.00 for annual
$2.00 per players (Team Bonzi) 1112 kids – $2224.00 plus $199.00 for $2400.00 Team Bonzi will connect nicely with
the CYSA registration system. This includes recreational and competitive soccer programs. Contract will be for 2
years.
Superior storage $190.00 per month – should Ted move forward in paying 6 month term. Due 1/28/17 Brad

suggested paying for month of February. (Steve 1 /JR 2 approved).

Referee Director – Mark Huhn
Planning new referee classes (dates - June or July, location - LOTH) Mentioned wanting marketing ideas where we
can reach more folks in hopes of increasing interest in referee training. Ted mentioned incentives for Comp team
players to take the referee classes. Brad mentioned a few ideas of rewarding Comp teams that put forth referees.

Coaches Director – JR Branaa
Challenger is interested in providing soccer camps for the summer. Sierra Gold is interested in utilizing Challenger
along with our club in some capacity. Brian mentioned that U6/U8 coaches didn’t get as much time after the season
started.

Prospector Soccer Club 2017 Season

Communications/Outreach Director – Chris Felton
Tryout signs will be displayed later in the week.
Additional emails & social media campaigns will be sent out regarding tryouts.
As soon as the Republic FC schedule is out, competitive teams will be allowed to select their game(s) for team
building. Let me know if anyone has any specific needs.

Equipment Director – Steve Montoya - No report.
Steve would like to take a look at the current storage unit.

Fundraising/Sponsorship Director – Brian Coyne
Brian mentioned a juggle-a-thon for potential fundraiser with online fundraiser system.
Club Positions:

Recreational Club Registrar – Mary Coyne
Mary asked about when the registration system will be available. Don mentioned that Sally did not have a date.

Comp Club Registrar – Dana Guzman
Dana mentioned getting together with JR and Mary when the new registration system is up and running in order to
setup the system together.

