Outlook Live Using Skydrive at LSBU A guide for new students New students who are attending courses at LSBU for the first time from September 2010 have access to Outlook Live (web-based email system), Skydrive (web-based file storage), and Office Live (web-based versions of Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Skydrive gives you access to 25GB of online disk space to store files (50MB maximum per file). This is in addition to the 100MB of storage space that you have on your I: Drive. You can upload files to Skydrive and access them from anywhere with internet access. You can also use online versions of Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create and edit those types of files. Warning: Files on SkyDrive are not automatically backed up by ICT or Microsoft. If these files are deleted, they cannot be recovered. It is the responsibility of the student to keep backups of important files on either their LSBU-supplied file storage (I: Drive) or their personal USB sticks.
